Subscription Terms

Details about billing, cancellations, and refunds.

Plans

BioTask offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers. Plan features and limits are shown on the pricing page and within your account.

Billing and renewal

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis through Stripe. Your subscription renews automatically unless you cancel before the renewal date.

Payment processing

Stripe handles card payments. BioTask does not store full card details; we receive payment status and subscription metadata from Stripe.

Cancellations

You can cancel in your account settings. By default, cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until that date. In some cases, you may also choose immediate cancellation.

Upgrades and downgrades

Upgrades or downgrades are processed through Stripe. Stripe may apply prorations or credits based on your billing date.

Refunds

Refunds are not automatic. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us and we will review the request. We comply with applicable refund laws.

Failed payments

If a payment fails, we may retry the charge and temporarily limit paid features until payment is resolved.

Price changes

We may update pricing or plan features with reasonable notice. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle unless stated otherwise.
